Increasing Achievement, Confidence and Enjoyment through School Sport
Every state school in Harrow shares the goal of increasing achievement, confidence and enjoyment at school through PE and sport. Led by the School Sport Partnership, this has resulted in:
Average time spent on PE increasing from 116 to 120 minutes per week
78% of young people participate in intra school competition
42% of young people participate in inter school competition
Over half of all children now do three hours or more of physical activity in school per week
Harrow School Sports Partnership has also brought in the equivalent of an additional £280,000 to the borough's schools over the last three years which has been invested in PE and sport.
